ABC Cooking

This past Saturday, ABC Cooking got together to do our meals for the month. Of coarse we enjoying cooking, but we also love just having some girl time. And thankfully our husbands don't mind because they also benefit from us doing this - hearty, home cooked meal each night.

Barbecue Chicken for Sandwiches cooking, and will be shredded when fully cooked and slightly cooled.

Cassandra's fabulous Chocolate Chip Cookies that she made for the church's food ministry freezer. We make 5-6 packages of something (minestrone soup, chicken wild rice soup, and ravioli casserole made in the past) to donate for us using the kitchen at church.

We literally do take over the whole kitchen!

And the refrigerator!

We did have to take some silly pictures! We tried some of the chicken after it was shredded and it was soooooo good!

Oh... and the best part. The fabulous dishwasher!

Packing up our 26 meals from the day - 14 different recipes made. Most of the recipes we make can be put into 2 bags/containers since they are so big, and then we have 2 of the same meal - which we don't mind.

Diaper boxes come in mighty handy for this job.

We are more then willing to give advise on how to do this, but unfortunately it really works best to have 3 tops per group - so we won't be taking in anyone in our group. But if you have a friend or 2, we recommend starting your own!

*This doesn't need to be done as a group thing either. The book that we use is actually set up to do by yourself in your own kitchen, so don't feel that you have to do this with other people as well.*
